Mars series heating plates are specially designed for micro and ultra-micro analysis, and the exposed parts are made of non-metallic materials to avoid contamination concerns. The graphite plate is fully PTFE-coated for high corrosion resistance.

The RC 5 is equipped with a 135 mm diameter aluminum alloy top plate ensuring great temperature homogeneity and optimum heat transfer across the entire surface.
You can rely on the RC 5 for everyday laboratory applications such as boiling liquids, basic solutions and media preparation as well as dissolving buffers and reagents.
By turning the knob of the RC 5 it is possible to easily adjust the temperature setting up to 310 °C. It accepts up to 15-liter flasks.
