ECODryBlock is a modular dry heater for precise sample heating, supporting a wide range of applications in life science laboratories:
Cultivation and Sample Preparation – including DNA/RNA extraction and purification, enzyme reactions, and cell culture activation.
Denaturation and Detection Preparation – DNA and protein denaturation, SDS-PAGE sample preparation, serological studies, immunoassays, and clinical tests such as coagulation and blood urea nitrogen determinations, as well as in situ hybridization.
Physical and Chemical Studies – Melting and boiling point determination, culture medium testing, and other analytical procedures.
With its extended temperature range up to 165 °C, ECODryBlock can also be used in environmental laboratories to measure chemical oxygen demand (COD) in water samples.
ECODryBlock is simple and precise to operate thanks to its 7-inch capacitive touch control panel with a chemically resistant glass surface.
Users can easily set independent timers and temperatures for each module, with a resolution up to 0.5 °C. A transparent cover forms a warm air layer around the module, providing comprehensive air coverage and minimizing heat loss and temperature stratification, thus ensuring superior stability and uniformity. Combined with a digital interface for precise control and easy monitoring, it guarantees repeatable and reliable results in a variety of applications. For direct monitoring and control of sample temperature, external probes (Pt100 and Pt1000) can be precisely measured and adjusted within the sample container.

MULTITHERM SHAKER
The MultiTherm shaker is a temperature controlled vortexer, useful for a variety of molecular biology applications. Despite its modest 8 x 11 in. footprint, all popular tubes and plates are compatible, including as many as six 50 ml tubes. Speed, time and temperature settings are continuously visible on the LCD, simultaneously showing both actual and selected values. Integral over-temperature control ensures long life, safety and sample integrity. Blocks are sold separately.
