MULTITHERM SHAKER
The MultiTherm shaker is a temperature controlled vortexer, useful for a variety of molecular biology applications. Despite its modest 8 x 11 in. footprint, all popular tubes and plates are compatible, including as many as six 50 ml tubes. Speed, time and temperature settings are continuously visible on the LCD, simultaneously showing both actual and selected values. Integral over-temperature control ensures long life, safety and sample integrity. Blocks are sold separately.
MINI WITH NON-SLIP RUBBER MAT
The Incu-Shaker™ Mini is the most compact shaking incubator in its class. Despite the remarkably small footprint, a large 11.5 x 9.5 in. work space accepts several platforms and a variety of flasks, tubes and other common vessels.
The standard platform (included) features a non-slip, rubber coated surface, ideal for tissue culture flasks, Petri dishes and staining trays.
The convenient MAGic Clamp™ (PATENTED) platform is also available for use with Erlenmeyer flasks and test tube racks. The unique, magnetic attach- ment method is the easiest way to instantly change between flask clamps of different sizes.
The BeadBlaster™ 96 is an extremely versatile bead mill homogenizer that has applications in a variety of areas, including biological research, environmental testing, and industrial settings. Adapters are available for microplates, microtubes, and 15/50ml tubes. Grinding jars and balls in a variety of materials are available.
Wet homogenization, dry grinding, and cryogrinding can all be performed with the BeadBlaster™ 96. The arced motion of the sample holders and powerful motor allow samples to be processed quickly and efficiently. All parameters are digitally controlled through the large touch screen and 9 programs can be stored in memory.
The safety cover lifts up for easy access to the sample holders and automatically locks during operation. The wrap-around design of the clear acrylic lid allows for visualization during homogenization.
- Ideal for cell disruption, DNA shearing and ChIP assays
- Programmable with touch screen control and pulsed operation
- 150W, for volumes 0.1 to 150 ml (requires appropriate horn)
- Supplied complete with 6mm horn, temperature probe and soundproof enclosure
* High capacity – 24x2ml
* Cooling function to protect temperature sensitive samples
* True refrigeration – no dry ice, liquid nitrogen or external connections
* Sealed 2.0ml tubes – eliminates cross contamination
* Full range of beads in prefilled tubes and bulk available
The biological sample homogenizer integrates three functions of grinding, pyrolysis, and homogenization. Through three-dimensional high-speed vibration, the beating of grinding beads (glass beads, ceramic beads, steel balls, etc.) can achieve the purpose of grinding, pyrolyzing and homogenizing the sample. It can effectively homogenize samples of animal and plant tissues, bacteria, fungi, etc. It is very effective for spores, hair, bones, feces, soil, etc., combined with extraction related reagents, can quickly, efficiently, stable, and batch extract DNA/RNA/protein in samples. And retain the integrity of these biomolecules.
DryChill cooling tanks are designed for safe sample storage On the laboratory bench, the sample will not degrade due to temperature increase or fluctuate.

The Benchmark SureAir™ PCR workstation is a compact, convenient way to reduce contamination concerns and provide a clean room environment at a fraction of the space and cost.
Benchmark’s MC-24 Touch is the first microcentrifuge in its class to feature touch screen control. In addition to the next generation control panel, the centrifuge also offers high speed (up to 13,500 rpm/16,800 xg) and a unique COMBI-Rotor™ that accepts both standard microtubes (1.5/2.0ml) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2ml), making this the perfect partner for any molecular biology laboratory.
The large, color touch screen shows actual speed (in rpm or rcf) along with set and remaining time. Up to 9 speed/time profiles can be stored in memory and the home screen displays a “mySpin” icon for instant recalls a designated favorite profile.
Supplied with Benchmark’s unique COMBI-Rotor™, the MC-24 Touch will accept 24×1.5/2.0ml tubes, 2 strips of 0.2ml tubes (16×0.2ml), and up to 12x spin column kits without requiring separate adapters. Samples are kept cool, even during extended runs at the maximum speed setting by a proprietary air flow system that moves air evenly and quietly throughout the chamber.
The MC-24 Touch is cold room safe and carries a 2 year warranty.
Benchmark’s PlateFuge™ is the first “mini” sized centrifuge with a swing out rotor for microplates. Centrifuging plates before PCR ensures all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields.
STRIPSPIN™12 MINI CENTRIFUGE FOR 12 POSITION PCR STRIPS
The new StripSpin 12 Mini Centrifuge from Benchmark is
the only mini centrifuge designed for centrifugation of
12 position PCR strips. With a fixed speed that produces
2,000 xg, this centrifuge is perfect for quick spin downs.
Simply close the lid and the unit quickly ramps up to
5500 rpm. Open the lid, and the rotor quickly decelerates
for removal of samples.
The Orbi-Shaker MP™ is designed with a 3mm mixing orbit, optimized for thorough mixing of microplates and/or PCR plates. Up to four plates (standard or deep well) can be placed on the included platform and are instantly secured without the use of springs, clamps or tools.
The BenchWaver™ combines the basic rocking motion of traditional platform rockers with the circular motion of an orbital shaker. This combination is ideal for generating the optimum 3-dimensional “undulating” motion commonly preferred for molecular biology applications.
Benchmark TubeRollers are designed for the gentle, thorough mixing of a variety of containers, including Vacutainers?, bottles, test tubes, centrifuge tubes, and roller bottles. Both models feature variable speed control (2-80 rpm), suitable for the broadest range of mixing applications.
As the roller mechanism rotates through each complete revolution, the right side of each roller is gently elevated about 0.5 in (13mm) and returns to the horizontal starting position. This additional, gentle up/down motion provides a “wave” effect and guarantees that the entire sample is subjected to complete, thorough mixing, end to end. This built-in tilt feature provides a level of homogeneous mixing uniformity that cannot be matched by any stationary roller apparatus.
From blood collection tubes to roller bottles, Benchmark TubeRollers are the ideal choice for research, clinical laboratories, and doctors’ offices.
